Biografia

Nace en la ciudad de Buenos Aires. A la edad de tres años inicia el estudio del piano con sus padres, continuando desde los 8 años, con la renombrada pedagoga Berta Sujovolsky, discípula de Arthur Schnabel,haciendo su primera presentación ante el público a los nueve años.

Recién cumplidos los 17 años de edad obtiene por concurso una beca para la Facultad de Instrumentos del Conservatorio "Ciprian Porumbescu" de Bucarest, Rumania, donde asiste hasta terminar la carrera, teniendo como profesoras de piano a las eminentes Lidia Cristian y Florica Muzicescu.

Concluídos estos estudios toma clases de piano con Bruno Seidlhofer y de análisis conErwin Leucter.En 1969,en Buenos Aires, es profesora de Música de Cámara y Co-directora de la Fundación George Enescu, y es a partir de este momento que se dedica a la interpretación del clavecín. Cuatro años después viaja nuevamente a Europa donde toma un curso de especialización con el pianista Gheorge Halmos, estableciéndose posteriormente en España donde adquiere la nacionalidad de dicho país.

Allí es miembro solista de la Orquesta Catalana de Cámara,del G.I.C. (Grupo Instrumental Catalán especializado en la música del S-XX ),y del Cuarteto "Laieta",conjuntos con los cuales lleva a cabo una intensa actividad de conciertos por todo el territorio español.

Se presenta repetidas veces como solista en numerosos eventos internacionales entre los cuales caben mencionar:

Festival Internacional de Barcelona; Festival de Música Contemporánea de Alicante; Foros de la Nueva Música de México; Festival Latinoamericano de Música de Caracas; Festival y Congreso de las Tres Américas de Buenos Aires; Festival Internacional de Morelia; Festival Internacional Cervantino; Expo Sevilla 92; Latin American Music Festival de Fort Worth,etc.

Se dedica especialmente a la interpretación de la música de J.S.Bach, Fr. Haendel y autores contemporáneos,realizando numerosos cursos magistrales y estrenos de obras escritas para ella, y una muy intensa actividad de recitales y conciertos con orquestas sinfónicas y de cámara. Es miembro de la Sociedad General de Autores de España.

Como pianista se dedica a la música de cámara y al acompañamiento vocal.

En 1988 es distinguida por el Gobierno Brasileño con la Medalla " Heitor Villalobos".

Es académico de la Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México ( UNAM ). Realiza la catalogación del Archivo de Música de la Basílica de Guadalupe de México, donde reside desde 1986. Ha dictado conferencias y publicado diversos artículos sobre este tema.

En el año 1999, es beneficiada por la beca de Investigación para Hispanistas que concede el Ministerio de Asuntos Exteriores de España.

34 Sonatas de la Catedral de México del siglo XVIII

  • Estas obras fueron cedidas del archivo de la catedral de México. El autor de las mismas se desconoce por la perdida de las 20 primeras hojas, donde se supone que figuraba el nombre del mismo (bendita suerte la de esta persona). Este CD contiene de la sonata Nº 21 a la Nº 45. “Estas obras son breves, en un solo movimiento, al estilo de las sonatas italianas y españolas del siglo XVIII, resueltas, en este caso y musicalmente hablando, con el único recurso del contrapunto” dice Lidia Guerberof. Clavecín Contemporáneo Mexicano

  • “Un sueño largamente acariciado: el primer CD con obras de Compositores Mexicanos Contemporáneos, para clavecín... Agradezco emocionada a los compositores que aceptaron formar parte de este proyecto y a aquellos que escribieron sus piezas especialmente para esta ocasión con la esperanza de que sigan componiendo para el mágico clavecín...”. Este trabajo esta compuesto por 8 obras de los siguientes compositores: Joaquín Gutiérrez Heras, Manuel Enríquez, Ernesto García de León, Ana Lara, Salvador Torre y Mariana Villanueva. Biography

She is born in the city of Buenos Aires. To the three year-old age it begins the study of the piano with their parents, continuing from the 8 years, with the renowned pedagogue Berta Sujovolsky, pupil of Arthur Schnabel, making their first presentation before the public to the nine years. Recently fulfilled the 17 years of age he/she obtains for competition a scholarship for the Ability of Instruments of the Conservatorio Ciprian Porumbescu of Bucarest, Rumania, where you attended until finishing the career, having as piano teachers to the eminent Lidia Cristian and Florica Muzicescu. 

Concluded these studies take piano classes with Seidlhofer it Polishes and of analysis with Erwin Leucter. In 1969, in Buenos Aires, is teacher of Music of Camera and Co-director of the Fundación George Enescu, and it is starting from this moment that is devoted to the interpretation of the clavichord. Four years later it travels again to Europe where he/she takes a specialization course with pianist Gheorge Halmos, settling down later on in Spain where he/she acquires the nationality of this country.

There she is member soloist of the Catalan Orchestra of Camera, of the G.I.C. (Group Instrumental Catalan specialized in the music of the S-XX one) ,y of the Cuarteto Laieta, groups with which it carries out an intense activity of concerts for the whole Spanish territory. It is presented repeated times like soloist in numerous international events among which are necessary to mention: International festival of Barcelona; Festival of Contemporary Music of Alicante; Forums of the New Music of Mexico; Latin American festival of Music of Caracas; Festival and Congress of the Three America of Buenos Aires; International festival of Morelia; Cervantine International festival; Expo Seville 92; Latin American Music Festival of Fort Worth,etc. Is devoted especially to the interpretation of the music of J.S.Bach, Fr. Haendel and contemporary authors, carrying out numerous masterful courses and premieres of works written for her, and a very intense activity of recitals and concerts with symphonic orchestras and of camera. Is member of the General Society of Authors from Spain. 

As pianist is devoted to the camera music and the vocal accompaniment. In 1988 it is distinguished by the Brazilian Government with the Medalla Heitor Villalobos academic . It is academic of the Autonomous National University of Mexico (UNAM). she Carries out the cataloguing of the File of Music of the Basilica of Guadalupe from Mexico, where it resides from 1986. It has dictated conferences and published diverse articles on this topic.

In the year 1999, it is benefitted by the scholarship of Investigation for Hispanists that it grants the Ministry of External Matters of Spain.
